PraiseMe ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy and the privacy of your children. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application PraiseMe (the "App").

Information You Provide

• Account Information: Email address, display name, and password when you create a parent account
• Family Information: Family name and settings you configure
• Child Profiles: Names and optional avatars for children added to your family (no email or personal identifiers required for children)
• App Usage Data: Tasks created, praise points given, goals set, and achievements earned

Information Collected Automatically

• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers
• Usage Analytics: App interactions, feature usage, and crash reports (anonymized)
• Log Data: Access times, app version, and general location (country level only)

Information from Third Parties

• Authentication Providers: If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your email and name as permitted by you
• Payment Processors: Apple App Store processes subscriptions; we receive confirmation of purchase status but not payment details

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App
• Create and manage your account and family
• Process transactions and manage subscriptions
• Send important notifications about your account or the App
• Respond to your comments, questions, and support requests
• Monitor and analyze usage patterns to improve user experience

• Display advertisements in Parent Mode for free tier users (never in Kids Mode)

Advertising

Our free tier displays App Open Ads (full-screen advertisements when the app opens) in Parent Mode only.

• Kids Mode is Ad-Free: We never show advertisements to children, regardless of subscription status.
• Ad Provider: We use Google AdMob to serve advertisements. Google may collect device identifiers for ad personalization.
• Premium Users: Premium subscribers enjoy a completely ad-free experience.
• Opt-Out: You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings or by upgrading to Premium.

How We Share Your Information

We may share your information in the following situations:

• Service Providers: With third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf (hosting, analytics, customer support)
• Legal Requirements: If required by law, legal process, or government request
• Safety: To protect the rights, property, or safety of PraiseMe, our users, or others
• Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share children's data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services.

• Account data is retained until you delete your account
• Usage analytics are retained for up to 24 months in anonymized form
• We delete or anonymize your data within 30 days of account deletion
• Some information may be retained longer if required by law
