Praise Requests
Praise requests let a kid proactively tell a parent about something good they did — even if it wasn't already a task — and ask to be rewarded for it.
How a kid sends one
- In Kid Mode, the kid goes to Request Praise.
- They describe what they did and suggest how many points it might be worth.
- They submit it — it now appears in the parent's pending requests.
How a parent reviews it
- Open Praise Requests on the parent dashboard.
- Read what the kid described.
- Approve to award the points they suggested (or an adjusted amount), or Reject if it doesn't warrant points.
This is a nice way to catch good behavior that happens outside of any assigned task — the whole point of PraiseMe is noticing kids doing something right.
