Praise Requests

Praise requests let a kid proactively tell a parent about something good they did — even if it wasn't already a task — and ask to be rewarded for it.

How a kid sends one

  1. In Kid Mode, the kid goes to Request Praise.
  2. They describe what they did and suggest how many points it might be worth.
  3. They submit it — it now appears in the parent's pending requests.

How a parent reviews it

  1. Open Praise Requests on the parent dashboard.
  2. Read what the kid described.
  3. Approve to award the points they suggested (or an adjusted amount), or Reject if it doesn't warrant points.

This is a nice way to catch good behavior that happens outside of any assigned task — the whole point of PraiseMe is noticing kids doing something right.
