Creating Tasks

Tasks are how you turn everyday chores and responsibilities into something kids can complete and get recognized for.

Steps

  1. Go to Tasks and tap Add Task.
  2. Enter a title (e.g. "Make your bed") and, optionally, a description.
  3. Choose which kid it's assigned to.
  4. Set how many points completing it is worth.
  5. Optionally set a due date (and time — see Due Dates & Reminders).
  6. Save. The task appears on the kid's task list right away.

How completion works

  1. The kid marks the task as done from their device.
  2. It shows up in Tasks → Review, in the pinned Needs Attention section, as pending.
  3. A parent approves or rejects it — approving awards the points immediately.
